Best Practices
Introduction
Please follow our advertising design and placement guidelines—to help you avoid the most common Audience Network policy mistakes.
Avoid Accidental Clicks
Most advertising placements are enforced due to implementation errors. The following simple considerations will help you design ads for success:
Please display ads during natural pauses—do not play them during loading or in the middle of gameplay.
Please make it easy to close ads—do not require users to click a call-to-action.
Clearly differentiate ads from content—use borders and different background colors.
Allocate positions reasonably; do not overlap with the app/game's UI.
Use clear calls-to-action—such as "Click to Play," countdowns, etc.
Do not let ads move unexpectedly.
Click "View Details" in MoMa to see which placements in your application have failed or are close to failing, and link to suggestions on how to resolve any issues.
Check the App Store
We will upload links to the MG App Store onto the platform, striving to provide users with a better experience. When creating an app/game, for the convenience of developers, we may prioritize using app store scraping to collect some information.
Maintain Brand Safety
We manually review applications to ensure they do not violate our brand safety guidelines. This policy may apply to publishers and applications with content that:
● Negatively impacts our relationships with users or advertisers.
● Promotes content, services, or activities contrary to our competitive position, interests, or advertising philosophy.
We recommend you consult the following guidelines:
● Content Monetization Policy—including prohibited formats, prohibited behaviors, restricted categories, and prohibited categories.
● Partner Monetization Policy—rules applicable to all content on Facebook Pages, Events, and Groups.
Configure your brand safety settings to ensure you are also protecting your own brand.
